Make Way for Shades of Gray for AW15 at LFW
Gray color is having it's say in fashion. Whether it is a blue gray to a red hued gray, it is a color to add to your wardrobe for Autumn Winter 15.
London Town is having Tea and Fashion Week with a strong side of vavoom. The first day brought a strong modern look to the forefront. My picks are daring yet classic. Clockwise:
Bora Aksu - Bora has a very unique style that always exudes a ethereal futuristic aura. This beautiful blue gray chiffon blouse and skirt is simply Marvelous Darlings! The detailing within in the fabric adds a new freshness to a bohemian look. The silver waistline brings out the shimmer in the fabric. The plum colored bootie is a new cut with a black slouch sock and brings a casualness to a dressy look.
Eudon Choi - The color palette was strong but classic. This rich blue and white pant and top is very mod-ern. The abstract blue print shawl adds such a sophisticated richness to a hip look. The navy front pockets on the white pant make it so much more fashionable and they match the jacket. Love the cowl neck of the jacket it keeps it soft. Then the bright orange round toe heel peeking out is a breath of fresh pop of color to this stark look.
J. JS Lee - I loved this collection form J. JS Lee. It is very clever yet sexy. They are taking classic and putting newness to a design. This top and skirt in a silver blue gray is a retro futuristic silhouette. The gather detail on the waist even though full is slimming. The cap sleeve top with the high collar with the same detail as the skirt is pure chic. Not a fan of the black point oxford flat but it is a trend.
Daks - This line was a pow in the face for fashion week. The red, white, gray, black palette worked!!! The patent leathers with leather are super duper lovely. This plaid slim cut trouser is a perfect slip slung bottom. The bright red red ribbed turtle neck is far out. The red leather quilted ob belt is a new take on a Mod look. Again not a fan of flats but these black leather oxfords are cute.
Headwear was slim to none until DAKS! This stunning red Modish style cap is a gotta get it Hat for AW15.It is the perfect of casual to hip dressy topper. The red color is so perfect. Love the patent leather brim that breaks up the red. From pants to dresses this hat worked. Bravo for a very high fashion ready to wear cut & sew hat!
Keep up the momentum Londoners. It's a swinging good groovey time.
Cheers!
