Color Me Cool Chic for AW15 from London Fashion Week

Color has taken the center stage for a spotlight on modernity.  Modern Mod to Purfection & Punk Rock have collided to bring about a nouveau romantic for 2015.
So enthralled with excitement over today's picks.  Clockwise:

J.W. Anderson - J.W. is a bit of progressive contemporary designer.  This collection was brilliant.  He found a way to bring his vision into ready to wear this time.  The abstract top makes me see a bit of 1980s Oingo Boingo Ska but much more sleek.  The rich teal pant tucked into the gray boot is a great transition for the eye.  The simple gray messenger bag is very modern.  The long geometric earrings give it a look from head to toe.

Jonathan Saunders - Jonathan has come a long way since he began.  This collection was powerful and a modern take on mod.  The slimming geometric sweater with black/white and greens with blue check is stunning blending into the floating knee length skirt.  Got to have this new take on the white gogo boot.  And what about those crazy square sunglasses - OMG want them now.  This look is so groovey!!!!

Sibling - This design team always impresses me.  Their fun & power packed collections thrill each time.  A seductive rock vibe emanates through each piece.  This long slouch sweater top and matching knee length sweater cling skirt is Marvellous!  Love how the pink is less girlie when paired with the black and grays.  The pink mid calf sock with the black sandals add a naughty but darling look.  Long sweater scarves are a big hit for AW.  This pink is so rich with the open neck.  And the hair with pink at top is freakin awesome!

Roksanda - Roksanda is one of my top designers.  Since she came on the scene fashion seems to be more more.  She always use color in daring but feminine ways.  Her looks are generally modern with a bit of geometry.  This brilliant color combo of browns and golds bedazzle the eye.  The golden voluminous fur stole/collar brings a retro look to an uber modern line.  The silver metal belt adds a sleekness to the waistline that breaks up the volume with the simple lines.  The shoes are fantastic!  The quirky heeled sort of 1930s shoe with orange and blue is on my must have list. The golden calf sock with a burgundy top brings out the color pattern play in the coat.

Now for the headwear.  Jasper Conran is a designer that I love & his collaboration with Uber Magnificent Milliner Stephen Jones is always Spot ON!  He is really big on separates with a distinct classic modern flare.  This lovely dark chocolate suede skirt and jacket is enhanced by the medium brimmed hat of matching fabric.  Matching the hat to the outfit is so Queen Elizabeth and a must do for AW15.  Preen has been reborn with Thornton Bregazzi.  The floppy cloche in black with floral appliques on very top of head creates a point of reference in a dark look.  Love the blue trim details on the outfit.  Sibling not only does knitwear brilliantly they know how to include headwear.  This time they added it on only a few looks which makes an impact.  This modern cocktail round style hat in a coordinating color combo is so stunning.  The knitwear covers a solid base and looks so perfect it makes me swoon.  The jacket and skirt combo in bright pink and orange is sumptuous.  The black socks with red sandals breaks up the color so interestingly well.

Rock on my lovelies!  Get in the Groove for AW15!

Cheerio!
