Lines & Colors Set My Heart A Flutter for AW15 NYFW

I will say this again and I am so glad to, "Women get to grow up once again and return to a sexy way of dressing.  Day 3 & Day 4 presented a sense of modern times with a bit of whimsy but in classic way. Today's pick go clockwise:

Victoria Beckham - What I love about Victoria's line is that it is not body conscious but it does aim to accentuate a womanly look.  She presents a structured line with angular surprises.  This particular black on top and white black stripe angular almost wrap style skirt is equal parts modern and future.  She gives us a new emerging length that is a bit of retro and love the black slimming boots ala Victorian.  The turtle neck and sleeveless look is huge for AW15 and I think it is Marvelous.  This was her best line to date!

CG - Is a newcomer to NYFW and they are saying there has been a buzz.  But in this day and age I don't pay attention to buzz's because it is usually a popularity contest which does not always denote talent.  But in this case it was for the read deal.  This line was mature fresh funky fashion.  This look is my fav pant look for AW15.  The large gray checks patterns from jacket to above ankle wide leg pant is darling.  Not crazy about the pink top underneath but that is easily omitted or put a lovely turtleneck.  The gray socks with the surprise of brown oxford platforms is OMG Fab!  Important to mention the elegant cut of the jacket.  The the collar.

DKNY - I am huge fan of this line and Donna.  I use to work for this line a few years ago.  I not only helped produce it but definitely wore it.  Donna designs for modern women and when she does this it works.  DKNY is always about modern youthful spirit and of course NY Fashion.  This look jumped off the runway with it's color combo and lines.  The blue top has nice sexy relaxed look and overlaps the burnt orange slacks so nicely.  The white socks not so much but the Mary Jane style shoe in black is yes.

Suno - I really love this line.  This pant look is a bit of menswear meets uber modern sportswear.  The stripes in the top give a sexy accent to the bodice into the waistline.  And love the high neck and that the top is not mid-drif but covers and is tucked into pant with a slim belt.  The black socks with Mary Jane style platform is a Yes.

Sadly no headwear was seen!!!!!!!  But it could and should be added most definitely to this looks.

Ciao Peeps!
