Milan has so many fantastic vivacious lines for SS16. However, my new thing in my faves is well my faves. I am cherry picking things that I personally like; not trying to perdict what will and won't be in or out for next season. To me great style is not about in or out but about what you really love and feel great wearing. So my pick of the moment for MFW SS16 is a uber modern line that really set my woman's heart on fire.
Elisabetta Franchi sent out a Spring Summer Collection that was all woman. So sexy with modern edge and Italian chic. These two picks caught my eye with the color and lines. The pants look with the drapped sleeveless top in a bright deep royal blue hue is so wearable and striking. It will make a statement and you will look the part wearing it. The pant length above ankle in a slim trouser creates a dressy casual summer look. The wide leather belt in a deep blue adds a nice break in the fabric. I love drapery and it can be done wrong or right. Elisabetta creates a fantastic top drape in a modern chic way. The suede bootie lace up heels ultra luxe sexy in the same color seems so right. The dark blue leather bag marks the spot with X.
Now the skirt top look which just catches the eye with wow. The light peachy beige top in lovely low cut and long blousey sleeves on top of a skirt that just swishes with confindence makes me sing. Love the asymetrical line of the skirt that goes all the way to the floor. Notice the lacing up the front which has been seen on quite a few lines for SS16. Again the matching color goes into the sandal bootie.
Such beauty and attractiveness that could only come from Italy. Molto Bella!
