Pre-Fall 2015 is shaping up to be quite fantastic!!! I love the rich deep tones of Navy, Russets, Black, Blues and Browns.
They have mixed it in with Pops of Color. A bit of nod to 1960s French Couture and Bohemian and voila a new style is emerging--- Finally. Design had become stale and too trashy. But now a return to sensual formal ish dressing is evolving. My fav pics are from designers who favor a womanly look rather than a woman trying to look like she is 16 again. So blahhhh! I have always been influenced by the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, etc. All these females embraced womanhood. They looked it and dressed it. They had curve appeal!
As far as hats well none are jumping out! So, milliners time to start releasing Pre-Fall Millinery Lines-Pronto! Handbags are becoming more structured and smaller --- Thank God! Carrying your luggage around all day is for the birds! Shoes - love the chunky but sexy platforms in sandals and boots! Take note of Fendi & Dior!
Ok, let me delve into the new silhouettes coming down the runways. Look for a more clothed and formal but fab style. Body con and skirts up to your wohoo is over! Pleasee let it be over already! Strong colors are at play not wishy washy. I also am still seeing a bit of the 1990s look of layering long tops under sleeveless looks. Above the knee looks but also mid calf too!
