Bellisimo Moda Makes Marvelous Strides at Milan Fashion Week

Woweeeeee!  Milan turned up the volume on high style for ready to wear.  Looks were put together and polished to a shiny diamond style for Autumn Winter 2015.
My picks for today are arrayed in splendor for the woman who knows who she is and wants to be.  Clockwise:

Fendi - Karl Lagerfeld created a collection full of pomp and circumstance.  This beautiful plush taupe and white coat is lush with warmth.  The double breasted center closure helps bring a full look some definition.  The relaxed silhouette reminds me a bit of Mademoiselle.  The small handbag in a darker color is fantastic.  The white futuristic looking boot gives this look a modern vibe.  And do I need to mention the matching headband.

Les Copains - This was a great collection of wearable sexy Italian design.   This white sweater dress in a heavy knit but gliding over the curves is winter wow.  The long sleeves with cuffs that fall over the hands gives it a bit of personality style.  Love the Dragonfly brooch to help take the stark out of the white.  The black strappy sandals was genius.

Francesco Scognamiglio - This collection was so sensual Italiano.  The shiny black silk with the large roses in a design that is progressive sends chills through my body.  The way it moves with the figure is divine.  The simple black stilettos keep the eye on the whole look.  The Deep front gives a more out there factor but when paired with the over all length it is polished.

Anteprima - Trust me this collection is spot on.  The grays glowed with a newness.  This dark gray and light blue floral print dress is simple and simply fantastic.  The wide black glossy belt added a pop of color but dark which is nice change from bright pop of color.  The gray relaxed coat moves with the look to add more sexiness to a classic with vavoom look.  The blue suede strappy shoes are a must.

Ok Prada shined with a new brilliance for AW15.  They needed to find a new look and they have.  Even though it tends toward the girlie it was brought back in a more structured womanly look.  A bit of 1960s meets the future of fashion.  Rich colors with contrasting bright shimmer is an Ah Ha moment.  I choose these two looks to highlight a new layered look for lovely women.  The wools in deep bright blues and greens send my heart soaring.  This spaghetti strap top over a short sleeve cotton button up in a navy blue is so Mod Now.  The mustard yellow leather long gloves excite me to extreme.  I love that dress gloves as part of the look not just for warmth are back.  Notice now the hair do and hair accessory.  This up swept and side ponytail clipped down from side to back is so innovative and a new look is finally born in headwear.  Rhinestone barrettes are huge for all of 2015.  Also Prada used the brooch to help add a bit of pattern into classic fabric.  Now the pant suits were absolutely what women need to start wearing.  This green plaid with gray and black trim in the design is uber uber chic.  The long bright blue and shimmering long gloves as part of the look again is stunning.  The SMALL HANDBAG IS BACK!!!!!  It's retro and punchy.  The funky retro shoes in new color combo finish off this head to toe collection.  BRAVO!!!!!

Headwear in general was sparse but the ones used were impactful.  Fendi used slim headwraps in matching colors to the look pushed forward.  Phillip Plein took rocker chic to a new level and added a great classic 1940s/70s style modern fedora.

A day packed full of fantastic fashion.  Get on the move now ladies!

Ciao!
