NYFW is buzzing. There are some hits and misses with a dash of almost there. But my picks are obviously the hits. Todays pick hit me with it's best shot. A new line to me, Novis has a brilliant collection. The look I choose to take center stage has a hint of the past and look to the now. Alot of forward thinking in new lines for fashion week has me buzzing. And I am noticing alot of people are pinning what I like which is different. Women crave things that are forward but wearable. Some designers get it and some don't. Novis has a winner. This dress with a relaxed stripe print on the verge of plaid is darling. I loved the nod to Claire McCardell in the silhouette. This is the type of All American Design we have not seen since the 1990s. And the 1990s vibe has been present for SS15. Love the button up effect that is happening. It is time women learn how to be sexy without revealing to much. So there you have it.
