Moda In at Milan Fashion Week SS15

Milan fashion week is off with a bang.  When I think of Italian fashion, I think brilliant color and sexiness.  As I have said in the past Italians love women and love them to be curvy.  Sophia Loren!  And the designers who have started off Milan Fashion Week have sent amazing color and print down the runways.  My look of the day is from Fab Frida at Gucci.  This was her best line thus far for Gucci!  It was equal parts high fashion and wearable ready to wear.  She was definitely saying something about where women's fashion should go.  Her retro influences of 1930s & 1960s was turned out for the 21st Century.  The bold color statement of beautiful russets, blues, browns, and reds was spot on!  Fresh, vibrant and sexy.  I want to wear every piece.  And I saw quite a few tweets from ladies saying the same thing.  So Frida is on Fire.  This pant suit reminds me of Yves St. Laurent or Brigitte Bardo with a 1930s nod.  The casual relaxed fabric with a patchwork print is divine.  A return to loungewear as outer wear is needed and she brings it.  The shoes Oh my!  These suede platforms are dishy with a dash of uber chicness.  Loved the ponytail and the makeup that went along with the color palette of the clothing.  Runaway to Italy for SS15.
